Benjamin Maio Mackay is an award nominated, critically acclaimed director, producer, actor, musician and MC.
 

They have performed globally including a co-headlining performance at the Off-Broadway venue 54 Below.  

 

Benjamin is the artistic director of Adelaide based production company, Preachrs Productions. Benjamin directed and stared in the critically acclaimed non-replica production of RENT at Queens Theatre in October 2022, they followed this up with a season of tick, tick...BOOM! in June 2023.

Benjamin has worked alongside Matthew Reilly on Ice Station Live and toured Australia with the play Great Detectives and its sequels. They also directed, produced and adapted an audio drama adaptation of The Phoenix Files Series. It stars BAFTA nominee and former Doctor Who Paul McGann. Benjamin currently hosts events for Palace Nova Cinemas (and has done since 2013), as well as Oz Comic Con. They have previously worked for ABC Digital Radio and Supanova.
